  1. Monstaru 2 years ago I built a lifted obs on fxt struts and beat the spoob out of it in the woods using info from your stella build. Destroyed that and bought a Samurai, sold the Samurai to avoid my desire to ej205 swap it. I've been searching for a yota for a few months now (hard to find a clean one in the northeast) and I see you post an ej powered yota on pirate... of course I had to go on usmb and find your build thread. You think the same exact way I do. I see the ej toyota has been done. Maybe I should go on with ej205ing a Samurai with the toyota transmission/tcase now... Sorry for the rambling story. Finish this beast.
  2. Jesus. Nice tires man. I used your setup on my 97OBS. So far it has been destroying offroad, only issue I have is camber and rear toe but I'm way too lazy to fix it. I've gone through 4 wheel bearings, 2 ball joints and 3 front axles in 4 months. I think they were just old and on their way out anyway. WRX axles and front knuckles seem to be much more comfortable with the extra angle from forester suspension. Absolutely no fight to get the strut bolts in. Do you have a problem with the tires rubbing the back of the wheel well in the front? I want to do some metal work and try to fit 30s next year
  3. Ah damn I guess I threw 100$ down the drain ;(
  4. Hey just wondering if you have a non-turbo ea82 dual range gear set you would be willing to sell?

  5. 85 RX Turbo Dual Range transmission. It's got crappy ratios but it was very local and cheap, I couldn't pass it up seeing as most EA82 stuff is on the west coast:mad: Plus I want to gain some experience with transmissions. I've done a lot of reading for the past 2 months about this and haven't really seen any relating pictures or information. I was wondering if I can put the dual range assembly into my spare 98L transmission front case so I dont need to get a EA clutch and cable for my lifted 97 OBS. I saw someone mention this on the "Stella" build thread but nothing helpful. Which mount do you use to put a EA82 trans into a EJ car? If I cant put the dual range setup into a 98L trans than can I put the 3.9 front diff from the 98L into the EA82t transmission? This would be a crazy hybrid setup but I have spare parts laying around doing nothing.
