Ok figured it out. This was a used adapter and there was two half inch washers droped in the hole and that was holding the hub off the crank flange. The washers fit tight and looked like they where part of the hub.

called kenndy and really could not tell me what to do was hoping someone who has installed one could help,

I bought a used adapter for a ej22 and can not get the flexplate hub to pull up tight on the crankshaft. There is a1/6 gap and will not pull up tight. Any ideas on want is wrong or how to slove this?

What sensors will i have to use

Can i use a escort disy for fire and timing and a ecu for fuel on a ej22 in a trike.Iwas going to use a carb but was thinking maybe going this route. I would like to make this happen with as few sensors and wire as possible.I am sure i will get slamed for this but this or a carb.

That may be my plan just hope i get all the harness and relays i will need.

Would like to keep it fuel enjected but not sure if that is possible . IT will be in a trike and not sure what parts to get from car just to make it run. how much of the relays and sencers can go away and still run right. I am a fuel injection virgin but would really like to do this.

I am getting the motor from a junk yard and some one has been working on the computer so i think there is a problem there. Can get it real cheap but need to know for sure i can make it run. I have heard about the dist but would like to here from some one that has done it

The adapter is the ease part but can it be changed to a dist and a carb

Found a 96 2.0 and would like change to carb and dist is this doable and how hard.I will be adapting to a vw auto.
