The transmission and rear end that I have are from a '97 Outback Limited. The car they're going into is an '88 XT6 . I want to keep the 4.44 ratio but switch to a manual transmission, but I don't know if I can mate the front diff to a 5MT. Brian G

My diff's ratio is 4.44. I was wondering if I can remove the diff from the transmission and use my 4.44 instead. Brian G

I want to replace my 4EAT with a 5MT. Will the diffs that I used with the auto fit the manual? Thanks, gang. Brian G
