  1. What is this 20$ 2" lift all about?? I'm interested...
  2. Cool, so would spring rubbers in the front make up for what you loose in clearance with the shorter struts?
  3. 92 Loyale Wagon 4WD I'm looking around trying to get some decent strut replacements as mine are totally shot. I live in Mexico and drive regularly on pretty terrible roads with literally hundreds of the most brutal speed bumps ever. I've been looking at getting the KYB GR-2 ($38 on Amazon) but it seems they are only made for the rear on the 4WD Loyales... all the GR-2s for the front have said FWD. :-\ I'm thinking about maybe doing the KYB's on the back and a different brand on the front... is this going to affect the handling? Any other brand recommendations? I really don't want to blow them after accidentally flying over the first hidden speedbump... THanks
  4. The brakes worked fine no problems I can sell all 3 pieces to you for $110 plus what ever the shipping is if you want I can send photos

    Regards

  5. I think I want the booster too. Not sure which one is bad... I just posted a thread to see if I can get any advice. Definitely want the corner light, buy I found a window local so don't need it.

    Where your brakes working well?

Prices on booster, master cylinder and corner light assembly?

    Thanks!

  6. Had the brakes serviced (fluid changed, bled, pads checked) recently but brake problem getting worse. When the car is cold, I have to exert a lot of force for very little braking power. The problem seems to go away after the car is warm/been in operation for a while. I'm thinking brake booster or master cylinder... any thoughts on which one, or how to check? Can I replace these with parts from a different year Loyale? I'm in Mexico and can't find any parts so I'm gonna have to have them sent, but not sure if the booster or master cylinder from a 90 or 91 would work. Thanks!
  7. Hi Just to be clear do you want the brake master cylinder with the booster or just the brake master cylinder and I have the rear passenger window and drivers side light 714 580 0379

  8. Thanks for the advice. Heading to the store to buy some transmission fluid.
  9. Hello out there... does anyone have any ideas on cleaning the transmission filter on my 91 Loyale (automatic)? Im in Mexico and can't get the part for a few weeks and need to drive about 600 miles in a couple days. My tranny oil is black... yuck. Is this a terrible idea? Is it possible? Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks
  10. Cleaned the EGR and now she starts with ease and I didn't notice any problems with the hesitation on acceleration... Hopefully that solves it!!! Thanks a ton!
  11. Cleaned the MAF, the EGR valve is next. Do I just scrape out the ports or can I clean the actual valve itself? Any recommendations on how to do that? Also Cougar, 35 psi is correct for SPFI? Thanks a ton for your help!
  12. Id love to post one but am new to this message board and cant figure out how.... its been a great trip though!
  13. Tried it, but it was much harder to start, then had a lot of problems accelerating. What does that tell me? Also, just realized I'm getting a code 34, although no check engine light... EGR valve or solenoid,,, could that explain my symptoms?
  14. The link for the PDF no longer works... anybody have a better link or description how to do D-check?
