  1. I also just saw these: http://recstuff.com/16x6-6-5.5-White-Spoke-Trailer-Wheel.aspx
  2. Those Weller's above are a very rare wheel, especially in the states. I contacted the company last week about sourcing some and that is a no-go. I even asked if they could drill a 140 pattern and they said they do not have the ability to. Keep in mind you do not necessarily need a "trailer wheel". You can have these for a little more. I run these on my TJ and you can't beat them for the price. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/USW-70-5660/?rtype=10 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CRR-310-5660/?rtype=10
  3. The last set of wheels you bought. What brand, size, offset, and of course what tire fitment are you running? That GL is absolutely bad@$$!!! Oh, and I am new to older Subaru's but how did you lower it? Did you clock the torsion bars in the rear and then do different struts? How did she do at autoX? Thanks for posting.
  4. Right on man! Nice find for sure. I am finding that I love my '80 Brat more than both my Jeeps or my WRX?! It is crazy how attached we get to these old relics.
  5. Alright, as long as I am on this board I will never bother for another page.... But, do you have a fender/hood page as well. I promise that is it. I feel like I owe you a beer. Paypal accepted?
  6. sorry. I have been searching for weeks to find part numbers. Subaru dealerships are awful for help around here in my town.
  7. Ah crud, maybe even a right side door explosion please? Have no linkage from handle to lock inside my door, lol.
  8. Ok, I need one of these. Exactly again what I am after. While you have it, do you have a few pages on the front valance/grille/turn assemblies, etc? I am threadjacking my own thread, lol.
  9. Ah hah, so there are specific bushings and I got the part number right. Hmmmm, so I am thinking it can be done then? Leeroy can you please tell me exactly what manual that is? It is exactly what I am needing to source. Thanks for scanning those!
  10. OK, good to know. DO you know if that bushing number listed is viable for a replacement though? If welding be needed, welding be done, lol.
  11. Forgot to add, I saw this in a thread yesterday for the mustache. Part number "62004020" does not exist. After learning some other part numbers I added another "2" and came up with this part #622004020 While searching for that part number I found it to be called a "bushing" for around $15.00. Anyone else know if this can be validated?
  12. I would absolutely appreciate that! I am having such a hard time finding parts catalogs for the 1980 Brat. There are so many little parts I am looking for and can't find numbers on. Do you know of or have access to any on the web by chance? Thanks. Jon
  13. Just called Subaru - Have to buy the whole mustache for $294.00!!! Guess that is out. Anyone else had luck sourcing these Mustache bushings?
  14. Thank you Leeroy. So these will work for both the control arms and the frame mounts then? If so, that is great. Do you happen to know about the rear diff crossmember - the bushings for those? I know I can't be the first to ask about those here. Anyone else please?
  15. Bumpin for personal gain - I have an 80 as well.
  16. Anyone, seriously? At least give me some ideas on the bushings please.
  17. My 1980 Brat is in need of some things I cannot locate. I have found swaybar bushings at RockAuto but I noticed there are a set for the attachment to the control arm and a set to the frame/body. Where do you find these both? The rear mustache support (for the rear diff) has rubber bushings and mine are just toast. I cannot seem to locate these either. Are there any out there and if so, please help. Now on a side note. I want to waste some money on larger wagon wheels and tires. Do any of you know if a 15" running 45's at a 165/175/185/195/205 width would work? Here are the wheels I am planning. They are a 3.5" backspace. I ask because I would love to do something like this for my Gen 1: Am I completely losing it or can this be done? Thanks
  18. Let me know if you wanna let go of the lower dash - radio bezel and such. Can't find one in blue.
