  1. I guess as long as you have all the same kind in there, it should be fine.
  2. Good to know. I look forward to more discussions and enlightenment!
  3. Gloyal- I DID use what was in there in the first place, someone else mixed it. The short, broken paragraphs tend to denote condesention or a curt attitude. I didn't mean to say anything in any way that would warrant that. So I'm sorry for any miscommunication. At any rate, thank you for the input.
  4. Ah. Just re read and saw you haven't driven it long. Is the motor really loud?
  5. It could be a headgasket. How is the power? Is it weak(er than usual)?
  6. I've never spoken to anyone who has seen this jelly phenomenon actually happen. I read a few months ago somewhere that the whole thing was made up by GM. I also just helped my buddy swap a water pump on an oldsmobile. When I pulled it out, the coolant that followed was yellowish (green plus orange...) but no jelly to be found. I still flushed the system and filled with orange, cause thats what you're supposed to do. Anyone actually seen the mixed coolant jelly is very welcome to enlighten me. If it does happen, I'd like to know.
  7. Almost as jealous for that shop lift as i am for that sweet hatch! Nice find! Any work required is well worth it, so I'm glad to see you're already well underway with repairing it.
  8. @doughildreth- Nice Brat! I have a gen2 but share the same dream of towing a teardrop behind my Brat! Very cool combo. -Lou
  9. I'm driving around in my '84 Brat (GL D/R 4mt EA81 hitachi) and I notice that when I put my foot on the gas I hear a suction sound from the passenger side dash area. No ill affect towards performance, but a little annoying and certainly puzzling. Any ideas?
  10. My '84 has it. I want another for the other side instead of the dummie cap.
