  1. Thanks everyone for the information I will start with alignment and check bushings then go from there, it has new struts and ball joints and new axles, haven't thought about the brakes and they are new too, could be stuck caliper but it seems to free wheel when I jack it up, also I have noticed the left (drivers side) front wheel lines up with the edge of the fender and the right (passenger side) is inside the fender, not sure if it's supposed to look like that.
  2. Has anyone out there with a 1985 brat ever had a problem with their Brat pull to the left under acceleration and instantly pull to the right when you let off the throttle? This has been happening for the last year or so and its not just a slight pull it's a major movement.
  3. It wasn't too bad until I tried to patch it now its warped too
  4. Lets do it, sounds reasonable to me, I have a paypal account let me know how to do it.
  5. Thanks, If its not cracked how much do you want for it?
  6. Anyone know where I can get a taillight lens for the passenger side rear of a 1985 Brat , mine has a crack and will not pass inspection Left hand drive U.S model.
  7. My 1985 did that it was the radiator it was clogged half way up,and there was sludge in the oil pan clogging the screen. it would heat up to red line in less than 10 minutes.
  8. thanks i'll try twisting tomorrow Ordered new cable today.
  9. It's very sloppy, moves about an inch either way.
  10. My clutch cable broke today on my 1985 brat, limped it home and found that the clutch fork seems loose when moved by hand, is this normal?
  11. Thanks wasn't too sure about screwing them in, just wanted to check.
  12. Trying to replace front brake pads but cannot get the caliper piston to compress enough to get new pads in. tried with c-clamp but it has e-brakes on front couldn't get them to budge, took them completely off vehicle loosened bleeder too.Is there something else i need to do?
  13. Just installed the lights they are 100 watts each and very very bright. Mounted them on the headrest mount for now until I can fab a rollbar.
  14. Pulled Oil Pan And Found A Thick Pudding Type Blob In The Bottom Of The Pan, Right Where The Pickup Tube Was. Scraped It All Out And Cleaned Out Pickup Tube And Screen.Don't Know What It Was Never Seen That Before. Now I Have 70 Lbs. Oil Pressure At Speed And 25-30 Lbs. At Idle.Very Happy With My Brat So Far.
