  1. Does anyone have a picture of how the lines and hoses run from the pump and the sending unit to the lines that supply the engine?
  2. So I have fuel lines broke from pump I can not see them, I know there is one other part, does anyone have a diagram of the lines and hoses from the pump to the second pump to the tank? I am just going to replace the lines with injector hose but need to know which ones connect where.
  3. I recently had a hose rupture on the driver rear side of the vehicle, went to pick up some 5/16 injector hose with high pressure clamps. replaced 3 of the four hoses and now it leaks like to much presure build up. Curious if anyone has a photo or a good diagram of the how these should be connected and also what is the plastic part back there? Could it be the air evap ? The car starts and runs but spits fuel everywhere from the fittings and now further up towards the passanger side of the tank. any help would be appreciated.
  4. Any one know under the back of the car the fuel lines run from pump to tank and some plastic looks like for air vent thingy(part in question) I recently had a hose rupture and I simply swapped old with new one by one and now I have a high pressure leak. I am not able to get the clamps tight enough. I finally got new ones and now it is leaking further up. I am lost as to what happened all i did was change hose for hose, could it be the plastic unknown part that is causing this issue and does any one know what that part is? it is an ej22 2.2 motor also incase the question arrives, the car does run just leaks like crazy.
  5. Well thank you for all the input; I let it sit from Sunday night until Tuesday morning, and much to my surprise I went to turn the key and it fired right up and purred like a kitten again. I want to say thank you again for all the help, nowhere did it ever say to let it sit and settle, but hey it worked. #The Subaru Whisperer, I rotated the motor before I took off the rockers, and looking at the motor I turned it clockwise, I would call this one complete. Thank you again
  6. I did the driver side, i did not prime the lifters? They were solid no play so i did not feel the need to, and when i took it straight off and put it straight back on the car ran like the timing was off, The only hose was the exhaust from the valve cover, put that back on. I felt like this was straight forward and now i can not get it to run.
  7. I had a lifter ticking, So i took off the valve cover, removed the rocker arm assembly, and checked all the HLA's they were all tight; so then I installed the rocker arm assembly and valve cover and now it is as my timing is way off. Other then turning the motor to relieve any tension on the lifters to get off the rocker arm assembly with the timing belt still attached I have turned nothing else. Is any one have any thing on how I can correct this, I was under the assumption that this was a take straight on and put back on operation and now I am not able to get the car started. The motor is 2.2 SOHC off a 96 legacy with 196,00 When I first removed it was I supposed to do something different? Is there a way to get this fixed, I was going to look at the timing belt, but if I did not take anything with the timing belt off I should not need to check the timing, I hope it is just a mater of putting the rocker arm assembly back on with the pistons in a different location. Thank you in advance for any help and criticism, Im pretty sure I should not have started this without looking into it a little better first.
  8. Checked it and it was rusty. Put penetrating oil and it feels much smoother, I think that will do the trick. Thank you so much.
  9. 95 legacy l with 200000 sat for a couple days with not running or starting. When I went to move it the car started fine, but it was difficult to shift out of park to reverse and same for all the other gears. After it was running a while the issue went away, any ideas on what is bad or what's going bad on the car? If I drive it every day I do not notice the issue. The car is a 2.2 L with AT
  10. I have owned suby's for several years...always stuck with the legacy L sedans. Had my 96 for 3 years now, also had a 97 for short period of time and sold it to buy a 95. I looked around alot on this board, i must say lots of good things. One that struck me was the strut change, which is what brought me here. i am not sure where to start or how to properly post my question, basically I am looking to get more spring support in the rear as i have about 500lbs in stereo so she sags like an old lady now. thanks in advance and I am happy to be apart of the USMB world.
