i drive an 06 sti that is going through a 8year build into rally/mud slinger, more mud slinger then rally but that is aminly because i drive where none of my friends drive. However the sti even though i don't drive like a mornon only gets 25mgp on hwy- i like the old subies cause they are so adaptable, and because power isn't everything- i learned 10 years worth of knowledge at wcss 14 from the old gen crowd- probably one of the best car experiences of my life. I start mechanics training classes in late sept for 2 years and would have no problem working on the car during that time i really just need it to run, so i can use it as a daily, just fix minor odds and ends - the sti should be paid off by dec- so i will certainly be looking all the way up to that point.
