  1. yeah, got my hopes up too. i want my money back!
  2. Hi all. Put the flywheel from my RX (had it turned ahead of time) on the SPFI motor I'm putting in Skeet's car. The inspection plate on the bottom doesn't seem to want to clear the flywheel now (properly installed, pilot bearinged, and torqued to spec) as when i try to rebolt the plate it wants to rub. anyone know what's up here? thanks
  3. yeah, $20 is correct. no worries, i forgot about them too
  4. thanks Corky. so should i grab the XT6 front axles as extras for my car? and will any subaru 5 bolt wheel work on this bolt pattern? thanks do you still want the black lugs I have? I found them under a pile of crap on my coffee table :moon:
  5. sorry to hear about that, andrew. call spaldings in spokane at 509 924 3300; they should probably have some.. if they don't ship, i can
  6. part of the reason for one of these is to make it more convenient to carry two spares, for instance. no reason they both couldnt' be on a swinger.
  7. Hi Tex.. thank you. Spaldings has some XT6es that you could probably get stuff from.. those cost more than this might for me though thanks!
  8. hi.. i unfortunately wouldn't know where best to send you for this.. I would recommend the Appleway dealership group over Camp (both sell/service subarus too) as it seems to be friendlier and better run; parts ordered come in faster, also, camp chevrolet don't tip when they order pizza from us but none of that is more than my gut feeling. good luck though!
  9. I just found an XT6 that I may have free access to. I'm considering just taking the parts for the swap, and want to make sure i've got the list right: rear: calipers, rotors, backing plates, brake lines, just like a drum to disc swap, right? don't need the rear shocks if i like mine already? front: (impreza) struts, knuckles, rotor, caliper, brake lines.. don't need the lower control arm or anything? obviously i'll want the rims/tires too.. too bad they're ugly are the axles the same as my turbowagon? (grab for extras) I hope the seats are nice
  10. this is worth putting in the wrong forum here because it'll disappear soon http://home.comcast.net/~broncojim/rccar.wmv we need a remote control subaru
  11. have i asked for your address yet so i can package it up?
  12. Hi all.. I'm switching the rear control arms in Skeet's wagon over to the kind that accept a sway bar.. but those control arms don't have the 4wd bump stops. My plan is to hacksaw off the bump stops from the old control arms and send them with Skeet to be welded on later, unless.. do the bump stops and the sway bar interfere with each other in any way? I can't think of any way they would but I've never actually added the bump stops to a sway bar car before. thanks
  13. that's pretty cool actually. this board is a little slow at night
  14. eww. i don't like screens, but i especially wouldn't use skeet's truck stop screens. what do you need all of those for anyway?
  15. ahem. thanks, skeet. why don't you just go ahead and be all smug about it? :moon: if anyone ELSE wants the link: http://www.subaru4wd.net/New/mods/carb.html
  16. i think skeet's car has a hicrappy on it. anyone got the link for the hitachi carb mod page please?
