  1. Not sure if this will help you but I have been thinking of doing this mod http://forums.24hoursoflemons.com/viewtopic.php?id=30037 Google search Webber BBQ fender flares
  2. I bought a webber a few years ago for my Brat. But I never got an install kit for it. Now Im looking to finish the mod. What webber install kit to I get. There are so many kinds I don't want to waste my money on the wrong one. (32/36 electric choke) Thanks for the help
  3. ok the windshield cost me im thinking 30 bucks and I think the gasket was also 30. so 60 bucks for both
  4. ok no problem its just sitting in my storage unit it will give me some time to find the new gasket too. Just let me know when you r ready. I live fairly close
  5. hmm well my carb is fine in mine but I was thinking of the upgrade to the webber I have one as well but not sure where to get an adapter for it either, Would Subaru still carry these parts or some after market place. I just dont know
  6. Do you still need a windshield? I have one in storage and a new windshield gasket for it too, I have to find that though. I am amazed with the rust and the restoration you have done with your brat good job it is looking good.
  7. I found a 79 brat in a yard in Eugene a few yrs ago, that had dual pipes, and the dual intake which of course I snagged. I have not had the time to install them. But the y pipe was cut out its straight pipe from each head to the rear of truck, there are a few supports that bolt up along the journey of the pipe. I thought it would be cool to run the dual exhaust, with the dual intake, and dual webbers. But I ran out of time and money, And it just may be over kill for the little 1600cc that is in there.
  8. Put me down for one too, I've been looking for someone to make a good lift for the gen 1's yours look fantastic. Im in no hurry though. Let me know when you are ready.
  9. These guys may be able to ship one to you. Glenn Mitchell Riverside Auto Salvage 36139 Riverside Dr. Albany, Or. 97321 541-967-3904 1-800-762-8482 Glenn is the owner, very nice. He has two 79' Brat's in his yard I took some parts off last week, the front ends are nice. Hope that helps Brad:)
  10. Other good parts are front fenders, windshield, If you have a A-bar or roll bar or some other parts like rear seats, rear seat belts, even the the rear seat bracket. (you may need to cut that out). Tail lights and blinkers. If the trans is good. and hey the engine is good too if you have the space.
  11. 1980 1600 single range high milage ???? $300 and 500 Hotwheels Right now tranny is blown 2nd time. Waiting for replacement.
  12. I had to change the design so I did not get sued. A little known thing called copywrite infringment. Oh by the way I added more pics of what it looks like now..... Or before the color fadded and the paint ran in some areas. And the problem with adding more and more paint is that it cracks a lot and just looks bad. I wanted to paint it a solid neon green and get magnetic graphics placed on the car that I can remove and change around when needed.
