  1. Yup. My 1998 has just under 220k and, although I love the car, it just isn't worth the fix.
  2. OK, my gen 1 OBW needs work and it's not worth the cost, time or effort. I am in the market for a new ride and am torn as to what to get. In your opinion, would I be better off with a lower mileage (under 100k) gen. 2 or a higher mileage (100k-150k) gen. 3? I am looking at the 6cyl. for both and I obviously know that each car is it's own animal as far as history, condition and maintenance. I am hoping to get something I can get a few years and miles out of. From what I am seeing, it'll cost me a little more to get into a gen 3, but I really like the styling and I have heard they are a better vehicle overall. If it was your cash, what would you get?
