  1. thanks! no i didn't change the color but it really looks like it haha
  2. thanks! yeah it handles way better with the right springs on it.
  3. i didn't swap top hats. i had brand new kyb gr2 forester struts with impreza springs on them already on the car, so i just swapped the springs only. and i've still got my stock impreza tophats on there. i got the forester springs for free because all 4 struts were bent haha. they were from a forester my shop ran in a tough trucks competition and it caught major air haha that pile with the stuts and top hats is all scrap
  4. finally got some forester springs and lifted my car! also re mounted my rally armor flaps. heres pics heres with the fronts on but not the rears. heres the final result
  5. yeah i didn't realize how much of a difference it would be until i actually picked the wrx one up. i dont even need my hood prop anymore.
  6. Well here it is, its a 2002 impreza ts wagon. its a 5spd heres the car at the dealership. hard to tell its even the same car now... this is after i got it home and cleaned up then i got some hankook ipikes and rally armor flaps then i sank it nice shot out playin got the front end fixed and got blacked out headlights tinted my fogs and threw some bbs's on for looks ;D then i got some 215/65/16 snowtrakkers on powdercoated legacy outback rims. also lifted on forester struts with my stock springs. then played then i pulled the engine to rebuild the heads and change headgaskets back in! while it was on the hoist, i plastidipped the roof and got a wrx hood and plastidipped that too then this... aftermath: enjoy!! more to come
  7. thanks! yeah theres a pretty good number of modded subies up here. i can think of one lifted legacy that you've probably seen before. this one was built by a local shop (subie guys) for hill climb racing. we do machining and engine building work for them regularly.
  8. been lurking for a long time, finally had time to sit down at the computer long enough to join haha. i'm sean, and i'm an engine builder at ssi subie specialists in traverse city, mi. i've got a 2002 impreza ts 5spd, and a build journal will be coming soon. for now, heres a quick shot of my ride in current condition. thanks!! glad to be here.
