  1. My pump on an ea82 turbo gl 3 door was in front of the right rear. Hence the WAS...i can't find one for a reasonable price and it just sits there and rots because i don't know the right psi its supposed to pump so i can't get one from napa and throw a regulator on it to work right. sorry about the run on sentence my english teach would kick my rump roast. anywho....i have a friend with a brat and the pump on the right rear also (without mods). sounds like some people need to quit sounding so confident in the first couple posts before they hear some responses.
  2. Yeah i'm just trying to get advice on if i should part my subaru. its a 2 door hatchback, haven't seen too many in this body style with an ea82t (turbo) in michigan(or on the net). its a pretty nice car i have everything except the inline fuel pump below the back right seat and the gasket between the turbo and the manifold. i ran the car after sitting 2 years (when i first got it)and was stupid and decided to go down a road at about 120mph just the top it out and it blew the turbo. i bought a turbo used last year and the turbo ran great(worked fine) except the gasket problem held it back.only the driver side seat is bad in the interior other than that its pretty good. what i'm really looking fpr is advice on if i should fix it or part it out. offers are always up because i am very tight for money right now but any info would be greatly appreciated on if i should part it out or fix it. i would really like to fix it and build it up but the woman is more in the money mode and i haven't found anyone with the parts in a couple years. i wil post pics within the next 2 weeks to show the actual car. please give me your comments. all are accepted, good or bad.
  3. yeah i was on the older board for a while but things got hecktic and i just got back around to the board. the boards doing really good and i'm impressed. nice too see all the familiar names still around. i do need parts cuz its a nice riding car (one of the best i've driven) and i would rather dump money into this rather than buy a newer one. i think i'll try my luck at the market place. anyhow, thanks for the help. i'll try not to be a stranger.
  4. Yeah i was wondering if they made a 86 gl 3 door coupe like the one made in 89 ( http://usmb.net/gallery/album82/1989_i ) . it looks exactly the same just dark gray and its not in the 86 pictures. i have a chiltons manual for it but there isn't really anything specific about that car just engine specs. the 89 pic is the only one i've seen on the net that looks like it. i haven't found a 86 that looks like mine. also when i go to get parts the only parts that are right are the engine parts. i ordered a inline fuel pump bracket that was all rusted out and it wasn't even a close match. any info would be nice to settle my confusion.
  5. I've been looking for a inline fuel pump for quite some time now. I called the subaru dealer and he said that i could get one for $300 and it was one of the last in the U.S.. are there any reasonable aftermarket inline fuel pump for a 86 gl EA82,turbo, MPFI?
