  1. Yea, I've seen some brats selling for 1,500 on craigslist as rusty parts cars. And daily drivers for 500. The economy on brats is very deceptive.
  2. No idea how much it's worth. These things vary from place to place. I checked the database and I'm still confused on the subject. That's why I posted here. To get some ideas what it's worth.
  3. I didn't run a jumper. I just jumped it. After I got the car running, I disconnected the hot wire I was using and the car kept running. Not exactly sure how it worked, but it did.
  4. I had a problem like that. Ended up having to jump the wires in that little blue or black box under the dash by the hood release. Somehow after I jumped it, it worked again. Still not sure what was wrong with it.
  5. I have replaced struts, axels, rear wheel bearings, fuel pump, windshield, muffler... Thousands of dollars in reciepts I have restored the tailgate and completely overhauled the interior. Including wiring for an amp, red LED dash lights, stock looking cup holder, mp3 input jack... body work started not finished comes with a gallon of Herculiner still has a lot of rust. lol

  7. My daily driver went tits up. Now I'm stuck driving the brat an hour and a half to work. Hate to get rid of it, but I want a new car. Thinking of selling all my toys and buying a Brz. Which leads us into my question. How much is this thing worth?
  8. thanks for the info. Much like a drunk girl at a frat party, it's getting jumped.
  9. well it's the second one i've gone through in a year.
  10. What is the name of the little blue/black box on the driver side kick panel for the fuel pump?
  11. 1 I'm in the same boat. I've put to much money into it now to ever sell it. Drive it over an hour to work and back each way. They are very strong cars that are hard to kill. 2. Mine had mold everywhere. Even the steering wheel. A good cleaning and new carpet was all it took. Still waiting on the new racing seats, but in the mean time the seat covers are doing a great job keeping the smell in check. 3. My t-tops leaked also, which was the reason for my mold. I thought I was going to have to replace them, but all it really took was a good cleaning and a wipe down with glycerin.
  12. They wanted 300 to give it new pipe leaving the original crossover. Price included new muffler. Not a bad price. Would of been worth it, but I decided to just replace the muffler with a cherry bomb after realized I didn't need to cut the exhaust apart. I just needed to cut the top off the cat. There was only a couple chunks left in it. Definitely where the rattle was coming from.
  13. taking it in today. Still cant decide which way to go, duel or singe. I worry that duel will be to noisy and theres no real point to it other than saying you have duel exhaust. Seems like the power gain is about the same either way. ANY HELP! Someone try and convince me either way.
  14. Thanks djellum but I think I'm going to do away with the cats. I'll think about your duel setup twitch, coins cool. I'm checking out the single setup a lot of the guys are running now.
  15. Well that sucks, I need new exhaust. Plugged cat and rusted muffler.
  16. Anyone have any links our pics. I did a search couldn't find a dang thing. Not looking for some store online selling duel exhaust. I want to see what you guys have done.
  17. Ok cool. Thanks. Wow, ditch the whole computer. Makes sense. Once theemissions are gone I can't think of anything it would be controlling.
  18. That's what I figured, but if I don't hook it up won't my ECS light stay on?
  19. Is there a way to bypass the O2 sensor? Do I even need it if I'm installing a Webber?
