    Gday mate, I am have a Gen 1 brumby/brat with a EA71 engine and am looking to do a replacement with an EA81.. Is this possible/what problems am I likely to run into?

      It's possible but the EA81 uses a different bell-housing than the EA71. So you would also have to change out to the later transmission.

    hey man....so i ran a jumper wire to replace the revolution senser.... but no power to the pump    .there is power at the jumper but no power at the pump...it worked when i ran wires from the battery to the pump...but that was not a good permanent fix  ...any thoughts? thank you...you stay safe

      Check the wiring from the rev sensor to the pump. I think it runs under the drivers seat.
