  1. Hello, I would like to let you all take a look at one of the newest Subaru OEM website's. We are a dealership in CT that is trying to reach out across the nation to help Subaru fanatic's find the parts they need! We have all of the latest Subaru gear as well, I am currently in charge of the website if you have any suggestions please let me know and I will do my best to make it easier to use or more appealing. http://www.subieparts.com -Justin
  2. You are right, the XV has some deceiving power that some people just can't seem to find. That was a problem I always had, customers would say the engine is too small for the vehicle and things of that nature. I have been around them and test drove some of the first few for a few hundred miles and they will go. They have great power might not be STI power but for what it is they did a great job on the XV.
  3. As of 4 months ago I was selling cars for Subaru. The XV (non hybrid) gets about 33 MPG. As to the Hybrid gets 35 MPG a lot more cost for a small increase in MPG and a loss of power. I would stick with the original, and in my opinion they should have a diesel version, that would bring the MPG people around here are looking for and over is a great idea.
  4. I know that you can get some of them to bypass the need of the clutch to start the vehicle. It is possible to get remote start in them. I am just not sure if all of the aftermarket ones will work directly with the system on the BRZ. My suggestion would be that if you want one bad enough, get one with a clutch bypass and if it wont work just return it. Where is the loss in that.
  5. If you end up getting carried away you might just want to O-ring the entire system! Good bit of extra work but you wont have this problem again. 1 Lucky Texan is right tho, I have had rocks crack and puncture the condenser good place to look!
  6. http://www.subieparts.com This is where I go, normally I find some of the better deals. They cycle on and off parts on special and every now and then I can get them to put up a few things I need on clearance! If you need help let me know I will ask them to help you out!
  7. Have you figured out the problem with your window? If your other windows work off there switches then it has to be the wiring or the main switch itself. If the fuse was blown or bad none of the windows would work at all, being that they are all on the same fuse. So if you check your other window switches and they work you know at that point that it is not your fuse's. I would suggest for you to go to a junk yard and pull out a main switch from the driver side door and try that or you can always purchase one here: http://www.subieparts.com This is my go to website for anything part related. Just hit the OEM catalog and search for what you need in there! If after that it still wont work then you have to dig deeper and find the entirety of the wiring and make sure that it is still all hooked up and working properly! Let me know how you make out!
