  1. I replaced the brake pads and got it back on the router but it doesn't seem to be breaking when I slam on the break it pulls to the left. Do you think my caliper piston is shot. My brake pedal can go all away to the bottom and it doesn't seem to have much resistance to it. help please an thank you. -suburat
  2. So I've been trying to get the caliper off of my rotor but I can't seem to figure out how I unscrewed the bottom screw in trying to swing it out but it just won't budge what am I missing. This is on the 1978 DL wagon
  3. O boy I had the same issue. Blew my mind. My electrtion helps me out so I'm not 100% on all of this we did a sub wire from my ignition to my battery with a 12 v capastor then connected to my fule pump also we put a fuse on the sub wire so I don't fry what's left. So now when I turn my key to acc the fule pump begins to pump Sorry for not being more clear but I am NOT an electrtion cheers! -SUBBYRATT
  4. Before removing your axles and replacing them try a few things first as for the rear you may want to check if you have play in your ujoints u joints often die long before the axle does and as for the front try to just replace your CVs you can get CV at shucks for $68
  5. In what shape are your 77's boots? And thank you for the new fab advice. I will look into it. I feel as if putting a new fab on there may be the way to go. - subyratt
  6. Any one have these parts and or know how I can go about replacing them with new fab -subyratt CHEERS!!
  7. I meant to say cousin the Honda and the suby , my bad the text is really small on my phone
  8. They are head to head on the 542 at a bone rattling 65mph. ( the honda picks up a little quicker). in the snow I leave that old lady in the dust.... And in a ditch .. Full of snow. This DL kicks rump roast in the ruffs. Good ol beasty bessy
  9. I had the same issues I did a sub wire with a small 12v regulater connecting to my ignition so It would pump gas when my car is in accessory. Worked like a charm
  10. We are snow boarders who love our old lady's and use them(at least my suby) as they were intended, making a video of our adventures will post in near future
