  1. the fluid is absolutley clean...but i will pop radiator cap and check it also. i put a 4 inch lift on the car within last 50 miles, so i assume when i dropped notor/tranny i stretched the line that split... it is along driver fender near firewall....where rubber line connects to hard line.
  2. 1997 legacy gt wagon while sitting in my driveway checking for coolant leaks after a radiator swap, i start seeing tranny fluid start to drip, then run, then gush and spray ( about 20 seconds total while i look for source) then i see the rubber line back towards tranny has split..... my question is, i lost 1-2 quarts i guess. should i drop the rest of the fluid out and change filter since it is needing refilled. or am i better to leave what is left inside and just refill....anything else i should do while its down for this issue/ thanks in advance......
  3. ok...the motor is out, and i believe heads were removed before he decided he doesnt want to get into it. we have already agrred on a price, i think it is absolute steal....under 1000......plus another 3000 to geta new motor in it....id be in car for 4000
  4. Hello, I am looking at buying a 2004 Baja turbo. Motor had an erratic miss and would pop dipstick out of tube......he pulled the motor thinking a head gasket was bad and never did anything with it.....my question, is what is a safe amount to purchase it as is......please serious answers.....thanks
  5. just got it out of the garage. forester struts and 4 inch lift.....has some vibration in driveline so need to look at the carrier bearing and ujoints.....then will need diffrent offset on wheels so i can go larger tires. right now the rear is about 1 inch under the perch...has 1.5 inch wheel spacers but still doesnt clear the perch by about 3/4 inch out so should be able to fix with differnt wheels.......
  6. scott, thank you very much for taking my call this weekend. you sir are a good guy.
  7. we will see how this goes.....got the stuff, going to attempt to get it complete and back on the road by monday.....wish me luck
  8. i have the block steel sourced...gonna look at the pipe size for the strut lift today.
  9. OK, center of the car, meaning towards the opposite side....not the center as in between front/rear
  10. awesome. 10 degrees from top angled towards the front of the vehicle remaining parallel
  11. @gloyale the 10* you add into a 4 inch lift, is that 10 towards front, rear, inboard or outboard. i appreciate your help a ton. so, if i call the top of the mount 0* which direction should the angle go? thanks again, nathan
  12. thanks, would it be equivelent to the angle that the fronts are angled?
