  1. Look up Prwa101. Hes a member on here. He does the Anderson Design and Fabrication, "ADF" lifts. Im sure he can help you out!
  2. We actually left the linkage, how can I adjust it? And yes the fan cover is lowered and we switched out the steering coupled with one from a legacy.
  3. Yesterday I got to put my lift on my 88 gl. I went with a 2 inch lift and a 1.5 inch drop on the engine and. Transmission. My gl is a 3at. So after the lift was put on and I drove it, there's a little rattling/ clicking only when I drive more than 15-20 mph. Also since the transmission was dropped the shifter is off a little bit, when it's in gear it doesn't show up on the dash and it is sometimes hard to shift out of park. i drove it home for 5 hours after the lift was put on with no problem but the click/ rattling. Does anyone know what these could be? Thanks.
  4. I saw this on Craigslist before I saw it on here. Looks good if I didn't have my gl I would get it!
  5. I really like the ones on the white wagon in the background! I want to find something that doesn't stick out as far but I might just deal with it for now sadly since it seems I don't have much interest on these wheels.
  6. The main stuff wasn't too much. The lift was $270 from Patrick Anderson (prwa101) and the hubs were drilled when I bought them which I paid $100 for. I put a link below to Patrick's lifts if you are interested in one! http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/148582-anderson-design-fabrication/?do=findComment&comment=1246141
  7. Yeah those look just fine I don't like how mine stick out so far. I don't really even want them.
  8. Can I see a picture of how your wheels stick out spazomatic?
  9. Yeah if you know anyone who would like to buy them or trade let me know.
  10. I dont know what they came off of but they are 15x6 and back spacing is roughly 3.5". If you like them sticking out a bit these will be good for you I'm not to big a fan of the look but they are really nice wheels.
  11. So I have a set of 6 lug wheels. The tires are 205/70r15. I tried one on while my GL is at stock height and I thought they stuck out too much what do you guys think?
  12. Alrighty might look into buying some of these to go along with the lift. The main concern is the coupler right now first .
  13. Which springs fit our GL's from that link Lol I couldn't figure it out.
  14. Yeah this 3AT is my daily so when the time comes to need to replace it I will definitely be switching to 5mt the super high rpms bothers me a lot haha
  15. I think mine is at about 4000-4500 going 70 on the freeway. I don't drive on the freeway much for this reason as it also seems to go through gas way faster since it is at such high rpm.
  16. Haha I still haven't found one in my area either way I will have to go look again or buy one from someone haha
  17. Okay great! Well I have blocks that came with my lift. 6 blocks, two for the engine and 4 for the transmission all 1.5".
  18. Okay well exactly what kind of legacy am I looking at? I looked last week and couldn't find one. Also my 88 Gl has power steering and my cross member drop is 1.5" if that helps with anything. Thanks I could really use the info.
  19. I'm sure with the help of a friend and some extra tools I can do the lift I've been explained how to do it by a few people as well as Patrick who sold me a lift actually made a write up for it. As far as the legacy linkage I heard the spline count is different and I'm not sure it will work.
  20. Sometime soon. I haven't done a lift either so I'm hoping someone that knows how can help me out and and extend my steering coupler.
  21. Anyone near mount vernon wa that can help me with a project. I Want to install my 2 inch lift w/crossmember drop and also need my steering coupler extended. And changing to 6 lug hubs. I have all the parts and hardware just want some help. Thanks.
  22. Does anybody know the offset/ backspacing of my stock alloys on my GL wagon? They are 13x5. I'm switching to 6 lug and trying to find something with similar offset and backspacing or a little less to stick out a bit. Thanks.
