  1. There are like 3 junk yards in Ephrata, and I know several years ago they all had several Subaru's.
  2. Just wanted to say "hi", seeing as we're both Subaru fans, and live pretty close. What do you drive?

  3. I've rebuilt various switches in the past, with great luck, however never rebuilt a switch like yours. As for the bulbs, those are a pain, the first time I replaced one, it took a while...
  4. The shop my brother and I use, was quoting me $500-$600 plus labor for a low mileage tranny about 3 years ago, not sure where there source is, but it is in Washington or Oregon. If it's for a turbo car, they are $1000
  5. When I had my Legacy, I found a battery I liked for it alot, I picked it up at local industrial battery dealer. I can't remember who made it, but it was made in Korea...
  6. It was for sale here in Wenatchee for a while, I think the asking price was near $4000...
  7. I hate window tint, I have problems seeing through it. From now on I am avoiding all vehicles with window tint, since it's a pain to remove it...
  8. When I had my Legacy, I had the stock Panasonic system, and I was happy with it, but it doesn't take much to make me happy. But again, I just listen to the radio, and leave the fancy systems for the house, where they will less likely be stolen...
  9. I had a POS Craftsman torque wrench for a while, but the thing broke. So I bought a $10 one from Harbor Freight, and have had no problems with it for the past 2 years.
  10. My brother uses an Intercooler from a Saab 900 turbo, it works fine as a top mount intercooler, the outlets and inlets work just fine. He had to do a little modification to things to make it fit. From his research, from searching through the many forums, that the Saab 900 intercoolers work the best, with very little modifications. I was going to put one on my '93, but I got mad and traded it in before I could get around to doing it.
  11. Be very careful when purchasing a used JDM tranny, make sure it has a warranty, and is from a reputable dealer, and a reputable mechanic does the work. I got burned with the JDM tranny I had put into my old Legacy.
  12. My brother has always had the Toyo's of some variation on his Subaru's, and we live in Eastern Washington, and they have always done fine in harsh snow and ice. On my Legacy, I had some POS Coopers, they did decent enough in the snow and ice. I was going to get some BF Goodrich Traction T/A's, but I traded it in for my truck before I bought some.
