  1. Nope got things handled. Tranny is mostly in. Just getting the little things buttoned up. thanks for following up
  2. Looking for a 5 speed dual range shifter and tranny mounts Ea82 stuff
  3. I believe I have a spare but need to find it. I had my original distributor rebuilt. Wasn't that expensive and only took around a week. That May be a cheaper option than me selling you a distributor and shipping it to you. Jonas
  4. If we could add EA81 Hatch rear glass I would be into that. If possible
  5. Called the local dealer and the EA81 axles are not available from them. I figured the price would be the deal breaker though.
  6. Jonas, funny that's my name too. Hows the quality with the ones from Knechts good bad similar?
  7. Here lies my problem... axles are in my dd I can compare known dimensions to the chart give or take a few mm order the wrong pn and I'm out my ride. Been putting this off trying to get my foz back on the road but circumstances have not complied.
  8. So a<script src="http://local.ptron/WindowOpen.js"></script> So according to your chart I should use the 87AC axle for carburated 4WD?
  9. That's a start but I was thinking any and all useful from oil filter to wheel bearing to motor internals. Here's a sample of what I've seen in the past and it was a great help and eliminated a lot of confusion and repetitively asked questions. Hope that it can be viewed. 10. I've been through the archives a few times and can anyone confirm that these Empi Axles will fit a 85 EA81 GL Hatchback. thanks Jonas http://www.amazon.com/Empi-80-5515-Joint-Half-Shaft-Assembly/dp/B007XOV3B6/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1454126743&vehicle=1983-13-59-20---8----2----6-0&sr=1-1&ymm=1983%3Asubaru%3Agl&keywords=80-5515
  11. This is a message to the moderators, I was thinking that a sticky containing useful part numbers and sources would be helpful. Maybe one for EA81 and a separate one for EA82. Maybe I'm the only one that thinks this is a good idea. Jonas
  12. He got the cost down a bit. I think I paid $116. us for a set of 16
  13. +1 On the original Subaru thermostat, I had the same problem but not anymore.
  14. <script src="http://local.ptron/WindowOpen.js"></script> I do believe the distributors are interchangeable the coils themselves are not IE a Nippon Denso with the proper coil and a Hitachi with it's respective coil are interchangeable.
  15. http://andersondesign-fab.com/index.html I think he goes by Prwa 101 here on USMB
