  1. Awesome! Thanks gents. Ill check those out this evening and report back.
  2. Howdy folks!! New to the forum, but not new to forums.... Been a member of Jeepforum for a long time so I know the rules. So long story short I picked up a 99' legacy 30th anniv. sedan 2.2L 4eat 222k about 3 weeks ago. This is my 2nd legacy. 1st was the exact same except it was a 5mt wagon. Loved it so much got another! Although this one is quite the lemon. Runs strong, shifts firm, but all the power accessories have issues. Ok now for the problem... 1. Both blinkers work. Passenger side works perfect in all conditions. 2. With the headlights OFF, the driver side blinker is fast like if a bulb was out. 3. With the headlights ON the blinker slows down slower than normal, and with headlights on and brake depressed the blinker slows ever more. I've pulled both bulbs and cleaned contacts with a pencil eraser, and inspected wires immediately around the sockets. All wiring seems fine and the contacts and sockets were in good condition. What's going on here. I'm thinking it's a bad ground somewhere or worse the lever/steering column may be possible culprits. Any thoughts from the Subaru gurus!? I'm mechanically inclined and have access to a good amount of tools, except specialty stuff which usually can be rented at vatozone Thanks!
  3. First post fella's! Quick question. I've been doing lots of reading on several forums and cannot seem to find the answer to my particular question. I'm picking up a '98 Legacy (non outback) that's in need of struts. What I believe I've concluded is i can slap some Gen1 leggy outback struts (keeping existing springs) in for a small ~1.5-2" lift, is this correct? Will this allow me to run 205/75r15 General AT2s on stock wheels without any negative effect? This will be my DD cruiser but will occationally see a dirt road or two and take me snowboarding during the winters on the rare AZ pow days up north. Ive got a gnarly '95 Wrangler for anything that requires more than what my soob can handle.
