  1. Fan works, heater works, but no AC or ac light. Any ideas?
  2. Looked at all the connectors, and none were loose. The bulbs were all in tact too. Could there be a fuse for the cluster light. Or even a relay that is playing up?
  3. On my 90 Subaru Dl, the temperature guage and 4wd indicator lights (not super important) don't consistently work, I would have thought they would either work or not work, they sometimes work. The dimmer/dashboard backlight does not work at all. Any solutions?. Dodgy relay? Thanks
  4. Is there anywhere online that sells coils/shocks to give a 2" lift for an EA-82 L Series wagon? I have slightly larger tires that work with the stock suspension however, don't have much travel. Thankyou.
  5. I haven't actually driven off- road before on the Subaru (Havent even driven it on-road). I assumed the stock ground clearance may be quite limited on tracks though.
  6. I own a fully stock Subaru 1.8 5 spd dual range station wagon. Im curious about light modifications that can be made that don't compromise the build quality and drivability of the car, but increases it's off road capability. Coming from Australia, is a 2 inch suspension lift possible and recommended ?. I haven't found any All terrains that fit 13" rims, does such a thing exist, or do I have to find a larger rim?
  7. When ignition is turned on, the guage obviously gets power, as the dial rises to a low position, however it doesn't rise as the car warms up. Any advice?
  8. Just out of curiosity- My car doesn't have a tach - Does thaat make it a DL model, I thought that the DL model had quad headlights as opposed to combo- mine has combo. I also thought that only the GL came with the D/R 5 speed tranny
  9. yeah, the simplicity is 1 of the things that drew me to them,
  10. I found a white 4wd DR wagon for $600 which was amazing considering no rust (except 1 surface spot). Has great running ea82 carb engine, has 230,000 k on clock, and has been serviced regularly. It also has roof rails and tow ball. I am unsure wheather it has timing belt, because none of the service papers seem to indicate that, (I thought ea82's did). The other thing that struck me was that there was no tach (does that mean DL) Perfect 1st car in my opinion!, I'm not registering it until at least P plates though
  11. The other day I saw a roundabout 1977 dl 1.3 coupe with a hks hi-power ti muffler. You could argue the exhaust was too big, the driver was clearly flooring it just too keep up with everyone else but just something cool you don't see every day ( unless you own one with that setup)
