so how hard is it to build one to handle a tiny like 3x4 or so utility trailer and sincei have not bothered to look yet where are the best points to bolt it sub frame? rear bumper mounts?
-
pfffttt... try driving a 76 k5 blazer with 44's in downtown traffic and have the ps belt blow apart.... ooof my main reason is i have this 85 wagon i am cutting on and it has the manual rack in it and even with flat tires it seems as easy to turn as my power rack does well at least to me
-
steering that is. so since i have the option of both who votes for what it would be mostly street driven maybe a few jaunts in gravel or mud ect plus its less stuff under teh hood
-
hmm they look like those 15 pugs .. hm,m i will go look clsoer ont he way tow ork to night.. now where is my digi cam
-
i remember there was a thread or link with pics to all the suby rims.. i think i spotted a set of suby rims but not sure yet
-
dam fast... wish i knew there was so many roofers on here... would have been useful to know a few days ago grrr stupid shingles and insurance dr ya gonna put a "floor pit" in so you don't have to jack up cars to work under them ?
-
omfg.. thats like a dam stop light being used for a shift light on the dash??? i can see using a tiny light just as a reminder for those rare times that you might forget to shift.. but geees

is that true??? oh dear lord teh poor boy ...... -
the funny thing bout lil miss lohan is after disney cast her.. they decided she was a bit to... hmmm upfront and thus decided she needed to be digitally edited for size.. or so i heard on the radio..
-
i bet your antenna tuning is way far off or has been for long enough to damage the finals in the radio oops just realized it was a handheld
-
uh yeah thats pretty much what was said 86 t1 2.2 turbo dodge motor used a injected throtle body on a draw thru setup
-
soo... if yoiu run say a megasquirt box in alternating firing you can wire injectors 1 and 3 together and then 2 and 4 together then would that not take care fo your problem? or as mr balls stated. you could go with the draw thru turbo dodge setup but you will still need either a reflashed dodge ecu or some kind of aftermarket or do it yourself injection controller setup
-
hmm.. it might go faster if there was a scoop on the intercooler ... so it actually does its job... or perhaps i am just picky no who wants to gimmie a extra ea82t and a busted up atv frame...
-
4k to inject your car???? wtf what are you doing it the hard factory parts way or something? betcha i could figure out a better cheaper solution just a hunch ....

Hood Scoop ideas....
oddcomp replied to TheSubaruJunkie's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
you want the original shortened ? or a reinforced fibreglass one? using the wrx one to make a mold off of as long as the scoop is waxed nice and good the resin/matting won't stick to it then once its cured you can cut it and narrow it to fit the hump on the hood then re glass teh mold together and sand it all down wax it all up and lay the resin and matting layers down ... plus gelcoat in any color available i think to much i think i fibreglassed the back of one of my sons' power wheels electric trucks.. and reinforced it with steel strapping i could stand in the bed of it afterwards 185lbs -

now see if i had accsess toa nice sti scoop for a few weeks i would make a fiberglass mold of it then cut the mold in half and narrow it reglass it back together so it is just wide enough to fit the "hump" on ea82 hoods and incorporate bolt down mounts for it and then pop out a few .. but thats just me and since i doubt anyone has a spare sti scoop i can borrow.. oh welll -
i built mine for about 150$ us and have it installed on my 87 gl-10 turbowagon along with the distributorless ignition setup
-
not sure if its been posted b 4 but the lack-of-maintenance-man at my work mentioned he saw a trailer'd and lifted suby here recently so.. new spot cool enjoy.. old spot.. eh just ignore me as usual http://www.sthelensmudrun.com/sthelensmudrun/indexx.html

next time put a fan on the intercooler .. -
2 ecu's ect ect.. wow good way to over complicate things.. the megasquirt will use 2 02's and adjust each side accordingly and yes you could run 2 tbi's.. or build your own custom tpi setup even being across teh pond i doubt doing a homebrew megasquirt setup would cost any more than it would over ehre.. if i recall there are a few peopel over there that help distribue the kits and the pre assembled boxes as far as i know you can run anything froma lawnlower <a few have> all teh way up to a????? not sure there is a limit outside of not over taxing the injector drivers but witht he right injector setup and ballast resistors to help compensate for the laod some injectors pplace on the unit btw what you thingking of is called a ir setup independant runner it common place on v8's and small motors usually using dual or tripple barrel weber carbs the good side is once its all tuned and synced together.. a carbed ir setup ahs awesome low end grunt plus usally breathes well at hi rpm .. bad side is getting all those carbs synced up so they open all at once the same amount doing a ir setup with efi is easier and get better results especially if you run a o2 sensor in each exhaust since it can compensate for changes between one side or the other on the fly if your try and do the dual stock ecu /dual o2 setup your thinking.. you will have the problem of dumping way to much fuel in even tho its only one throttle body per engine side .. the stock ecu would still think its feeding all four cylinders off each throttle body <if thats makes any sense> so the result would be flooding rough running bad economy and crappy power using a ms box to control the throttle bodies you can tune back the rate of fuel injection to suite the motor just .0000002 cents or sumthing just a suggestion.. go to that website i posted.. and ask questions there.. i am prety sure there are alot of vw people running this system ... and they would have better help for ya than i would i suspect.. unles your turbocharged and mpfi
