  3. Don't know when it was last done. Bought the impreza just so I could do this conversion to my pickup. I'll get a timing kit and I'll do it soon. It better work afterward
  4. Looks like the timing is out. Mines a quad cam and the two marks on the cam gear on the left hand side of the car are out by 2/3 teeth
  5. Tried that. No luck it stinks of fuel after cranking. So it's definitely getting fuel
  6. I've had a look at the pickup. Tried the foot on the gas, not that. I've checked all work I've done recently an I can't find a fault. I plugged the diagnosis plugs together and my ignitor started clicking but of I disconnect the diagnosis plugs it doesn't make a noise. Any more ideas?
  7. Ok. I'll try that. It does have an after market fuel pump and pressure regulator set to 40psi so maybe it doesn't like that much. It just strange where it stopped working after I left it for a while
  8. Already changed the crank sensor It is using the standard V5 ECU. I'll have a look tonight and I'll check any possible connection issues. I may be a while
  9. Hi guys. I need some help. I've swapped and ej20g in to my Subaru pickup. I've had it running fine but recently its not started. It was running fine one day, the next day it didn't so I made a different earth for it and I started straight away. I then left it for another day. Not touched anything and it won't start. So I removed the new earth and it fired up again. Running brilliantly Left it another day and it won't start at all. It cranks but I have no spark. Has anyone got an answer for this. Ibe already swapped the crack sensor over. I'm hoping it's just a relay that was intermittently broken and now has completed given up. Any help with this is appreciated. Thanks
  10. Hi, im after some help if possible. Ive got a 1994 brat that ive put an ej20g into. Im all but done, I had the engine running 3 days ago. was running beautifully. I fitted 3 gauges to it, tach, water temp, boost, and i put a blow off valve on it. since then i cant get it to run. it cranks but ive got no spark or injector pulse. but there is fuel pressure. The engine had messed me around in the past. I moved the bracket with the ignitor, checked all wires (fixed a couple) and cleaned up some earths. Which got it running but now im back to square one. so im thinking it maybe something deeper. Ive replaced the crank sensor and ive connected all the vacuum hoses (not the originals, what ever i could find). Im thinking it could be the self shut off control not working right. Ive done some research and a few people have said about rewiring the main relay or fit a diode. If anyone knows of this problem any help is appreciated. Any other ideas on why it wont start would be helpful too. Thanks
