  1. No so the spline for the clutch is a 24 tooth count and the thickness is 7/8" not the the standard 1 inch. Every where I go and order up parts I can't find the right one. It still 4wd dual rang but it might be 1984.5 and probably discontinue in 1985
  2. Yeah I figured what I was I had wrong also turns out I've got a pre EA82 5 speed with smaller input shaft nothing really out on the market for these. Better to get the right trans first.
  3. So I've made the mounts work I have an flywheel for the trans. But now I go and get a spline count on the input shaft and its 24 tooth and then spindle diameter is 7/8 not 1 inch. when I've looked for clutch packs I can't find any thing what am I doing wrong
  4. The old plate was 4inchs and I still ran into this problem. I'm thinking im just going to hard on this setup.
  5. From center to center it's 3½ on all holes well from what I could measure from. its still on the car
  6. Need help on my 83 wagon for some reason my rear cvs are clicking when I go up hill or any thing with little power I think it's the drop plate for the diff. but Ive had another plate drilled still throwing cvs. what am I doing wrong.
  7. Im looking into doing a sami swap do my lifted 83 gl wagon. im looking into doing this do to a shortage on rear cv axles for this car. what id need for a build list to acquire every thing. and can i combine Subaru and sami drive terrain?
  8. Yeah the cup split apart. And ill see if i can make a hybrid. I've got matching rear ends ill look to see if the spline counts it same on the ends. Isnt it great subarus like legos.
  9. It was the stock ones when I bought the car. Turns out no one carries the rear cv axles and you can't get even subaru parts. I blew up right there on the hub rear driver. I've got an 85 gl with same gearing. Will those work with mine? I'm gonna call that guy tomorrow to see what he could do.
  10. So i have a lifted subaru and i tend to blow them up. I took that in mind when I lifted it. But is there bullet proof one that can stand the abuse. I'd love to later on and go soild axle swap it.
  11. I need help on what i need to do for the 5 speed swap on the ea81
