  1. Ok great, I'll try those ideas. Hazard switch is also on the column, so if I splice into the positive wires from there I should be good hey...I think I'm confused about how those switches complete a circuit (and therefore which side of them I should hook into). I guess I'm trying to get the wires from the Central locking to complete the circuit when I lock or unlock, so I need to be downstream from the switch... Newbie auto electrics 101 I know! Thanks for the answers
  2. Hi there, I've got a stereo/remote Central locking install under way and I need some help! Seem to have the actuators positioned happily and I can figure most of it out, but I need to connect the central locking kit to the turn signals/indicators. There are two wires from the kit that are meant to connect for this, I assume one for each side, but I don't know where it's best to attach them or how to find the right wires. Anyone done a remote Central locking install who can help me out? I can take a picture of the indicator wires running from the switch down the steering column if that helps... If this goes well I might sneakily add power windows while everything's apart! Thanks, Steve
  3. Also, what do I need to do to be able to ask a question in the repair area? Are newbies not allowed to start new threads? Thanks
  4. Hi all, I've had my brumby for a few years and kept it as is, but I'm feeling confident (silly) enough to start adding some creature comforts and hopefully get her running a bit better. No real clue what I'm doing, but happy to see so much info on here! Here she is at the moment, just starting a central locking and stereo install. Thanks!
