When I turn on the hear to the floor position in my 2012 Outback 90% of the heat blows out the defroster vents on top of the dash and almost no heat makes it to my feet or goes to the back seat area, I took it back to my dealer and they told me that that was part of the design and there was nothing they could do about it, I then called Subaru customer service they looked into the situation and called me back and said the dealer was correct that it was part of the engineering and that is the way that it is, well if I would have known that I would have never bought that vehicle, buyer beware, has anyone else encountered this ?

They are black, I am not sure if they are leather but they are not heated

The front seats in my 06 Baja are incredilly uncomfortable, I spend a lot of time in mycar 35K+ miles a year, they were rock hard when I bought it and I thought they would break in a little, I had a Outback wagon as a loaner on a routine service day, that car had the worlds most comfortable seats, does anyone know if they would fit in my baja ? Anyone wanna buy my Baja seats ?

John, The alarm actually goes off even when no one is in the drivers seat.

Does anybody know how to disable the seatbelt warning on an 06 Baja ? It is driving me crazy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I always wear a seatbelt but the warning goes off as soon as I start it and stays on even in park, and then it comes on in park if I take the belt off, I am a salesman and sometimes I do paperwork in the car and do not really want the belt on ( explanation in advance for those who will respond with what a great safety feature it is like the idiotic DRL's ) Please HELP !!! ARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Well I have been driving around my town of about 8700 people for the last 3 weeks in my new silver 06 Baja thinking I had about the slickest and possibly somewhat unique car around when some guy pulled into the Sunoco station and climed out of a DeLorean, now I am somewhat humbled, I guess I really need to get one of those Classic Brats. I would check to see ig the timing belt is off kilter, when the front main seal blew on my 93 it knocked the timing belt off wack ans caused a similar situation. QM:banana:

My thoughts exactly, and when you go to the drive in theatre and everyone starts swearing, waving fingers, and throwing things, because your lights are on, especially embarrasing if there are kids in the car.

Does anyone know how to defeat the daytime running lights on a 06 Baja ? I am interested in getting one but I can not stand not having full control of the lights.

I tried Mobil 1 in one of my high mileage Subies and that stuff leaked out of everywhere that had a gasket or seal,

Does anyone know where I can get Caliper rebuild kits for a 98 Legacy ? Calipers are a premiun for that year

Linda, I agree with everyone, keep it, I have put plenty of miles on all my Subies, when I went to sell my 93 Legacy Wagon with 200K on it I had 3 guys standing in line to buy it, I bought my 98 legacy with 75K and it was like buying a brand new car, if you live to the far east of Pittsburgh I can reccomend a good independant mechanic.
