  1. I had accidentally moved the cam sprocket while putting the belt on so it was off a tooth. Its running great now! Thanks DaveT.
  2. Okay I'll give it a shoot tomorrow morning and see what happens when I redo the timing on it
  3. Okay and if it is off a tooth how do I fix this without taking the belts off? This is my first time changing a time belt so I'm still learning all the terms. thanks for your help and patience haha
  4. I did all this, the video went over it pretty well. Should I just take the belts off and try again more carefully?
  5. It ran perfect before and still idles perfect. Can you explain what being off a tooth means and how I can fix it?
  6. I just changed the belts on my Loyale following Mile's Fox EA82 Timing Belt video on YouTube. The car starts and idles great but it's gutless and has no power now. What could I have messed up on?
  7. Sweet! I'll eventually lift the GL-10 but for now I want it to look pretty
  8. Yeah it sounds like WA is pretty relaxed about it compared to other states. I daily drive my Loyale so I'm not worried about taking the GL-10 on random trips. Cool to hear that other people have done this with their subies!
  9. I just got my 85' GL-10 licensed as a collectors car in WA. Just excited and wanted to share!
  10. I think this is what happened. Going to replace both calipers and all the pads today. Thanks for the suggestions everyone !
  11. No sorry I meant I even with the e brake handle off and down, the brakes were still engaged. I went back today to get the car and it had rolled about 5 feet overnight since I never set the e brake. The pads must have unsezied somehow while sitting overnight. I got it towed anyways but I'm still pretty confused on why it happened.
  12. If this is the case how could get it unstuck? The pads are definitely still pressed against the rotor like the e brake is on, but I've took it off and put the car in natural.
  13. I probably could but I might as well get some use out of my AAA....is there a way to tell if it's a seized caliper vs the parking brake being stuck? Thanks GD
  14. My front right brake pads are locked up on my Loyale and I am unable to leave the parking lot..I tried removing the Caliper by taking the slide pin out but nothing is budging. Anything I should try before calling a tow truck?
  15. I'm running the SJR 5x100 wheel adapters. They have been working great
  16. I got in touch with ADF and they said the diameter of the axle is too large so I guess I'll be swapping it out for a 4th time. Practice makes perfect I guess!
  17. I bought the stuff to do this with the lift kit I'm just not sure if I'm mechanically inclined enough to do it.
  18. I would go OEM if I could fine one. It only started happening after getting stuck and pulled out of a mud pit so I think something got damaged.
  19. It was supposed to be a "heavy duty Axle". I know I was gonna go through axles quicker but it's only lasting 2 days. And It didn't happen when I first installed the lift so something's gotta be wrong
  20. That bare metal part on the axle is the part thats rubbing. It was installed 2 days ago and the boots already torn....:/
  21. It's the 2" ADF lift. I have not lowered the crossmembers. My struts are also starting to get worn if that would affect it.
  22. Hm I'm not sure honestly. On flat ground it does seem like the Passenger front side is angled more like someone is sitting in it.
  23. My 92 Loyale with a 2" lift has the front passenger CV axle rubbing on the frame and the boots keep tearing. What should I check out first? Already gone through 3 Axles in 3 months...
