  1. Thanks gentlemen. Your advice and recommendations are greatly appreciated. TJ
  2. have an 04 outback with 140K miles. It has a pretty good rattle over rough roads and I was thinking about KYB shocks and one of those front suspension kits ya see for about $100 on amazon. inner & outer tie rods, maybe ball joints and a few other things. Any particular kits folk recommend? Any to stay away from? https://www.amazon.com/Steering-Suspension-Front-Subaru-Brand/dp/B0791JYVFS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1534469530&sr=8-1&keywords=front+suspension+kit+for+04+outback thanks

  4. I have been looking for an extra set of alloy rims for my 04 outback wagon. a guy is selling, "The tires are 225/65R17s. Stud pattern is 5 X 4.5". Tire Presure Sensor in place." Will these bolt on my 04 and there still be plenty of clearance in my wheel wells?
  5. thanks. I did send an email to KYB with the VIN and the reply was, "Based on your provided VIN information, it appears the following struts will be the correct options for your vehicle: 334447, 334448, and 341276. You will want to use these with the mount and boot kits that you mentioned below" note - they do say "it appears..."
  6. hello gentlemen (and ladies?) trying to buy some kyb shocks for my 04 outback or legacy. the two models require different part numbers for shocks. that is where my confusion lays. my car says "outback" on it. My auto title says " 2004 SUBA LEG SW". What do I request shocks for Legacy or Outback? thanks
