I purchased my Impreza used, and am still getting used to it. My phone is paired to the handsfree system but I can't figure out how to turn off the notification on the nav screen whenever I receive a new email. A message screen pops up that says I have a new message and I'm given the option to either read or ignore. But when i choose ignore, the popup screen remains and the automatic voice keeps announcing I have a new message. I can't get rid of the screen to use the radio or gps controls. The only way I've been able to get rid of it is when I turn the car off. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you!
