  1. I have to agree. Instead of dealing with fog, you have to deal with the smears from the fog-x. This is fine during the day, but at night, other cars lights make it nearly impossible. Just make sure you dont have the heat on recirculate and keep the rear defrost on.
  2. I've heard that, with some varying success, that in an svx you can drive the windows down in a rain storm and not get wet.
  3. Thanks for all of the responses. I think I'm ready to change it now, before it breaks and destroies my interference engine.
  4. Looking in the manual, the step-by-step brings up tool ST499977000. It says, "Using Holding tool ST499977000 or equivalent, remove the bolt that secures the crankshaft sprocket and remove the sprocket." What is tool ST499977000?? thanks, Phil
  5. http://www.spomotorsports.com http://www.boxer4racing.com http://www.cobbtuning.com http://www.perrinperformance.com http://www.scoobytuner.com http://www.vishnutuning.com Just some subie tuning sites that come to mind.
  6. I saw a hitch that had been welded onto the back of an STi, that was real cool. :-\
  7. For anything SVX, check out http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/. They know their SVX's over there.
  8. Stick with stock plugs. It seems that Subarus dont like anything else other than the stock ones.
  9. You might want to take this question to the offroad section. Those guys know their Loyales and tire sizes.
  10. Check out Perrin performance, Boxer4racing, and Prodrive. I don't know how difficult it will be, but I would imagine that you could do it.
  11. The Roo for sure off the launch, but a 1/4 mile can be a long ways. I would put my money on the cobra, assuming there isn't excessive wheel spin (Drag Radials).
  12. I would think that those tires would fit, and if they do rub minor wheel well trimming should take care of the problem. For the peugot wheels, I would check the market place here, or mabey look for the miles fox subaru junkyard.
  13. That's Subaru engineers for ya:brow: . That could be one of the coolest things I have ever heard of.
  14. I have seen all of the posts suggesting it and it's seemingly positive outcome, it just never made any sense to me. I am not challenging you, I was just wondering.
