General Disorder, I'll be honest with you I already have that EJ 20 Turbo Quad Cam 32Valves (at least the seller claim it has 32Valve) Computer box and wiring still intact so is the gear box wiring. I have started the engine twice and engaged the transmission and let it running for 15 - 20 minutes each time First 10 minutes the engines is rough but it get smoother afterwards. So I guess basically the crucial wiring part would not worry me so much. It just that I hesitate to start removing the EA71 to put the EJ20T. People who earlier promised to help me with the project back out thinking of the mass its going to be. You said that is it possible...? yea O.K .... I'll be brave.

Hi everyone know any body can sell and ship body parts to Malaysia. I'm looking for '83 model complete dashboard. Mine started cracking already and also all 4 doors. I am tired of sending the car for body works due to rust. Let me know if any one can help Best Regards

GeneralDisorder, Thanks for your reply, Is it the width of the hood, coz I'm thinking to make use of the spare tyre space to accormodate the EJ20 I made some checking and found out that the width of the '84 model is 3" smaller that the '94 Legacy. I presume the mounting are the same, correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks regards

Hello everyone, I am among a few in Malaysia still keeping old Subaru in good condition. I owned a GLT '83 model, actually belong to my late father.( sentimental value - grew up in that car). I recently found a complete front cut of first gen Legacy with EJ20T engine. I wonder if I can replace the old engine EA81 with the EJ20T. Is the space in the old body big enough to accormodate the EJ20. Thanks.
