  1. Thanks for your reply, Im talking to some junkyard to find the pulley. Just takes some time
  2. The belt is not the issue, it fits perfectly fine, its the power steering pully. There is not enough room for two belt, and its rubbing against the power steering mount. Every time I put the belt on the PS pulley and crank it over it just falls off. Here is a picture of a good belt set up.
  3. I trying to get my 1988 Subaru xt air conditioning working, but the belt is not fitting around the power steering pulley. If any one know where I could get a new one or find a used one, I would really appreciate it!
  4. I was changing the brakes on my 1988 Subaru XT, I did one side no problem. Then I got to the other side and take the hub off and notice that the splines were completely gone, nothing left. The axle was fine no sign of damage. What can I do to stop this from happing in the future, or what caused this in the first place?
  5. I'm in the middle of swamping my broken clutch out in my 1988 XT. Sense I had removed the transmission I decided to change the rear main seal. I installed the new seal but I chipped the top of the new seal. Will the seal still work or should I get new one. I'm on a time schedule so would a dot of RTV do the job?
