  1. Thank you for the info. I'll be pulling the engine at this point. The engine jumped timing due to a rotted belt. Scoping the cylinders showed valve contact on all 4 cylinders. Thankfully i have a friend who owns a machine shop so the challenge is getting it out and apart.
  2. My girlfriend drives a 98 legacy postal to deliver for usps. It's recently started to have troubles so im here to learn as much as I can from you guys.
  3. I have been looking at Timing belt kits for my Girlfriends 98 Legacy Postal with 2.2l. There are some kits with the old style tensioner and some listed with the new integrated tensioner. From the searching I have done it seems 98 should have the newer style Integrated tensioner and I will confirm that after removing the timing cover before I order. My issue is I want to buy an Aisin Kit but the only kits they list that fit the 98 Legacy EJ22e are with the old style tensioner. Does anyone know the correct part number for the Aisin kit with the integrated tensioner?
