  1. I prefer the beck arnly gaskets. I've used them many times and never had a problem with them. You can get them at NAPA(wich I prefer not doing for price reasons.) or check local parts store for them.Localy it's about $64 for the entire gasket kit for an EA81.
  2. I was wondering if anyone has takin an EA-82 maf and made it work on an EA-81 so as to run a coldair intake. If so dose anyone have a diagram or know how I should go about doing this?
  3. I'm not 100% on this but, if i remember correctly the sport mas won't fit on an RX because of the backing plates from the rear disk's are to large in diamiter so they will hit the weel.Someone else might correct me on this because like i said im not 100% sure ~FAT~
  4. breaffyaviation No none of the Turbo car's were carbed. If it was turbo it was MPFI. ~FAT~
  5. Well I'll probably be pulling the engin some time this week so if it's the HG's(MAN I HOPE SO) I'll find out then. ~FAT~
  6. That would be cool if it were the HG's but CHIM said as bad as it is it's most likly the rings.
  7. Looks to me as though it's real because all the glares and shadows are consistant. Could be wrong though that just my opinion(incorrect usualy).
  8. well when I got the car we went to start it and it turned over VERRY VERRY easly. It almost seemed like their was no resistance on the starter. It would eventualy start but it took a min or two. when it started if you let the RPM's get below 1000 their was no way of stopping it from shutting off. ~FAT~
  9. Ok well CHIM(Dayten) came over and helped me do a compession test on the RX. I could have done it myself but im not that smart and im to lazy:D . Anyway this is how it went, we tested them te same order as the fireing order(for convience). And results are as follows:#1,10psi,#3 10psi,#2 90psi, and last but not least #4 52psi. So as it stands now i need to get $$$$$$$$ then get a new moter!!! :banghead: (I have a big head one just didn't cut it:brow: )
  10. Did you tell them that the axle was "clicking"? If so I would take it back and tell them you want them to replace the correct axel because, you paid them do fix it and it didn't get fixed. ~FAT~
  11. Ya you eather have to get the puegeot 15"s or take a chevy 6 lug wheel and drill it out to fit the subaru 4 lug
  12. A friend of mine go a justy (Fuel injected like yours) and it had a blown motor. So what we did was found a Carbed justy motor and just switched out the block, and used all the stuff off the fule injected motor stuffed it back in and she fired right up and ran great. I dont know if this will work on your year depending on the year of the other motor you get but thats what I've done and it worked ~FAT~
  13. My Rx came with those same Wheels. They were Verry dirty and now their nice and shiny but not as shiny as the ones in the pic
  14. I'm the one he got the box and key chain from but I didn't give it to him I made a trade...(I realy wanted a beer)
