  1. I had a question, mainly for Numbchux. I was wondering if it be okay If I took your info and compiled it with as many pictures of swaps I could find and fit it all into a kinda-swapFSM in PDF format? Reason is is that I am currently studying as a graphic designer and also have acrobat professional and wanted to have a project that I could perhapes put in a portfolio in the future. I would be working on this during winter break but my goal in mind would be to piece it all together in a very complete fashion that coul be easily read with tips and hints on sides of pages and all. Let me know what you think *edit* ill also be buying up some webspace for my site quite near in the future so if ur looking for a place to hold the manual and site and not worry about slow sever or downtime also give me a holler just shoot me a pm
  2. very interesting indeed. This will have to be done down the road after im done with the suspension re-tool. Anything to improve my grip against the unlimited amount of WRX, STI, and EVOs out here
  3. So what I am getting from this thread is that there will be much better traction in the front now in response to the rear? AKA lower understeer? What are the benefits specifically (no need for laymans terms:grin:)?
  4. Hello all, I am hoping to convert my suspension setup to coilover at the end of winterr break with some new KYB gr2s and a set of ground control coilver converters. Question is, im buying the parts in stages and whhen looking for 2WD gr2 fronts I cant seem to find them anywhere on the internet . Anyone have some sites I can purchase them off of and the part numbers? I will get traditional 4wd gr2s for the rear and those have not been as much trouble to find. Any help would be great *edit* i tried a search but nothing came up with keywords KYB and GR2 in the old school forum??
  5. i thrid this!! keep the exact look with black with polished lip wheels but throw in a high grade motor of some sort and make it really rocket
  6. uuuuh then that thing is going to be teh Sexors  the built ea82T sounds fun but good lord, ultimate STI power in an ultralight chassis? I want to seee and keep us updated on how soon ull bend that thing from the power
  7. i kinda like the paint scheme for some reason . makes sense since its in Europe I guess. How those front driving lights working? THey must put out a decent sunbeam overall nice and unique Brat
  8. where are you located in california? might be able to come and try to help? Im in the Sacramento area though...
  9. hmm weird, ill have to check again. when i was doing it it felt like it was on hard and bolted a number of times at differnt parts. ill have to check again though. see if anyone else might have experience with it
  10. anyone have a simple stepthrough or any hints? Ive got all the other parts of the kit off except the front part. Ive been looking at my Chiltons manual for help around the bumper but its no use. When im under the car it appears the front lip is on pretty good and I dont know really a good way in getting it off. Thus ive broken down and asked haha
  11. WOW that car is teh sexors. any idea of what clearance ur runnin on that coupe? :slobber:
  12. after changin my pants a couple of times i have the confidence to say this is amazing Suberdave, officially u are my hero for forging ahead and showing us the way. I look forward to how they handle/work as I am looking for some coilovers this winter season. By the way, what tire size are you now running (?/?/?)?
