  1. I wish! A friend of mine did it (also did last years).
  2. Believe me, we went down this road. For a time, they wanted $5k for the mudpit/repair. And when we told them we might be able to come up with that, they balked, and flat out told us it wasn't on the table anymore.
  3. Thanks for bring this to my attention. I edited the page to show the current rates. This year we are charging $15 for 1 night, or $20 for both nights. We charge per tent. Thanks!
  4. Hey Russ... Ultimate needs the trim on the pass-side rear window. Going to part that stuff out?
  5. The idle issue is caused by the standalone not working well with the stock Subaru idle air control. I never fixed it, I just got used to it. Lazyness does wonders, so do habits/routines. I have good ideas on how to remedy the situation, and I'm willing to share them with you. Email me: subarutex@gmail.com (only because the board is teh suck with database errors)
  6. LOGAN, Buy this car. Save it. I live in MLT. I will guide you.
  7. I 2nd the BFG AT's. Love my set on the wagon. A lot better road handling than swampers. General Grabbers LOOK a lot like the BFG AT's, and probably perform similarly.
  8. The Seattle area has a lot of reputable Subaru only shops. If you have not had one of them look at it, it may be worth a 2nd opinion. Smart Service (shoreline and mukilteo) All Wheel Drive Auto (kirkland) Pacific Import Auot (Tacoma/parkland)
  9. For the front, EJ stuff goes right in as long as you put the larger EJ style ball joint in, and redrill the strut towers to accept the EJ struts. EA81 is going to have a width issue with the front axles, but EA82's do not. You will of course have to match your new EJ axles to your transmission stub shaft splines. The rears are the hard part. The hub/axle setup in the EJ's are very different from the EA cars. You have 2 options for the rear hubs, XT6, or Crossbred Performance (out of aus. where they did not get xt6's). I believe ShawnW is a reseller of Crossbred Performance parts. In the past there have been people that were going to make some bolt on hub adapters for the rear, but I never saw those projects really get anywhere.
  10. Drop the organizers an email at westcoastsubarushow@gmail.com They should be able to help you figure out whats sellable and not.
  11. True enough. I knew the minute I put the lift on that SOMETHING had to be done there. Really, you'd think that lift kit should have had come with a solution for that. Another aspect of the rear lift, is stub shafts. I never broke one... but I know a lot of people have, and a good portion of them have lifts with stock position rear sub frames. Coincidence? Probably. But, it makes you think!
  12. I have yet to do the front radius rod extension, but i'm strongly considering it. Help with turning clearances with my new BFG's and toyota rims. Here is an old picture... You can see how my old school BYB/Ozified lift keeps the rear tire centered. I find this setup a lot more visually appealing. IMO Tosh's car just looks off with how offset the wheels are.
  13. FILTHY. Don't trade this one. This should be your facebook pic
  14. Megasquirt It will do fuel and spark
  15. Some of my favorites... All the pics I have of the car are here: http://www.subarutex.com/ultimate-rx/gallery/ Gallery from my professional shoot: http://verdugo.smugmug.com/Cars/Texs-Ultimate-RX/6643822_8PcHZ#423894845_6acLw
  16. Please don't come. We have enough problems keeping tabs on people to worry about you.
  17. RCcrawler.com uses stars. They have different stars for vendors, etc... Doesn't seem monetarily based to me, aside from the fact that you need to donate in order to get one... but it doesn't denote the value of your donation.
  18. The $5k/year number is a bit high, and I feel a bit unrealistic. I just don't think we have many cases of 300+ people online all at the same time. For 175 users, the cost is $1500/yr or so. Not much more than we are running now. Reading through IPboards system, I bet we could get by on that... they don't cap the users. Sounds like they would only charge more if we had an ongoing user overage, not just a peak once or twice here and there. I feel that Facebook is more important than twitter, but i see both of them being somewhat of a value to the user base. I would also hope that with the new software, a mobile viewable site would be do able (which through my research, seems possible). As head of WCSS i'd like to pledge $300/yr of our budget to the USMB to keep it up and running, as well as relevant to the community. The USMB and its users are an important part of WCSS and we want to keep it that way! I think that a tiered donation/privilege system could be used to great advantage here. I would do small step donations... Its a lot easier to give a dollar than it is 5, than it is 10. Example: Free User - 10 PM max, 5 pics max $1 User - 25 PM Max, 10 pics max $2 User - 50 PM Max, 15 pics max $5 User - 100 PM Max, 25 Pics max $10 User - 250 PM Max, 50 Pics max (this is under the assumption we use the gallery feature of IPboard...) On a lot of boards I frequent, the For Sale section is restricted. You cannot view it unless you create an account. Most also make you have a certain post count to view it (RCCrawler.com is 30) However... If you donate, you can get instant access. Also Shawn, I'd be happy to do the shirts! I have a local printer i work with, and don't mind the hassle of shipping stuff out.
  19. Awesome jeep! Sorry to hear about Brians loss :-/ Hopefully it comes back home in one piece, and doesn't have to be retrieved out of a ravine.
