  1. I have spent the last 2 hours reading up on this car and have to admit it has a fascinating story. I would love to hear an update on it and see some current pictures. Unfortunately photo bucket has removed all the images. I would also love to know where the original 82 GL hatch that was used in the Cannon Ball Run ended up.
  2. I definently agree. L.E.D bars are dangerous. I have them on the overheads of my Loyale and am looking forward to using them offroad while it is snowing. It creates a magical appearance with the snow flakes!
  3. Great work Thomas. Finally found my password for this site to reply Bryan
  4. Oops EA82 I meant. Yes EA81s were actually reliable as I hear than the EA82s. Sorry for the confusion.
  5. Update 14 January 2015: The 1992 Subaru Loyale is still alive and well. Here is the current modification list and some updated photos. I recently also launched a website www.subaru-adventures.com to share the trips with the Loyale and my plans on bringing it to Europe in 2016. 7. Which transmission are you running? Stock Dual Range? Did you ever figure if the flywheel was the wrong step? I don't see how it would if you are running the stock EA engine. Hope you got it sorted. Nice build thread.
  8. Great pictures and write up. Wish I could had made it, but each year work gets in the way! Lame ducks! See ya next year or better yet organize a trip on my own schedule
  9. I remember you quite well, but forgot your name! Glad Gregg recognized you from the WCSS. Beautiful area out there. Snow run in that are is on my list! Hope to see you at an upcoming run with that wagon beast!
  10. Good times guys. Here is the video. Thanks to Rick for letting me tag along! And you can find pictures here http://subaru-adventures.com/?p=451 Seeya at the next one hopefully! Bryan
  11. I'm visiting Grand Rapids and was wondering if there is anything coming up in the next week as far as Subaru meets or any events. I am new here and was wondering if there are any places worth checking out. Thanks, Bryan
  12. Anyone have any luck locating the tool for removing the retainer from the axle stub shaft? Mine is leaking from the passenger side. The transmission is an 89' Subaru GL 5SPD Dual Range. Photo description below. Thanks for all the input in this thread. Any followups? Kilroy - Did you ever get the retainer loose and replaced the seal and o-ring?

  14. I'm in Bellingham also and have this same issue, but no blinker at all. I was hoping to find an answer in this thread to where the relay is located. I believe it would be one of the cylinder looking relays. Did you try replacing the turn signal stalk or the relay? Or is the issue still exist? Hopefully I'll get mine figured out..
