  1. The manual is very useful. It will walk you through any process you want to do. I found if you just use it, and when you can't figure something out, then consult the manual. What are you having trouble with?
  2. I run Mobil1...You can hear "the difference" best during a cold start.
  3. Got one back in early June...Love it! I've had several Subaru's over the years (my family has owned over 10), this one is by far the nicest of them all! My ONLY complaint, the stereo is weak! I traded a 2003 Mercedes ML500, that cost me roughly $1800 every 8 months or so in pads and rotors. I DO miss the V8 and Xenon headlights, however I'm adapting (sort of) to the V6. The car handles very well on and OFF road. I live in a rural area of PA, and the car is out in the woods 3-4 times per week (I have a Beagle). The vehicle seems to want to go anywhere, winter will tell the true tale, but hey, it's a Subie! I have the 7 passenger with NAV system...I would NOT own a vehicle without GPS at this point. Cargo space is acceptible (with the far rear seats folded down). The odd shape of the roof does limit "wide" boxes near the top of the rear gate. "Sport-Shift" works very well when left in "Sport." I find if I manually shift in "Sport-Shift", the shift points have significant lag. I must say, I usually DO NOT purchase first model year vehicles, however I have a GREAT dealer, and they have been 100% over the years. I had no fear in acquiring my B9. What else do you want to know? I give it a 9/10 (-1 for the "premium" stereo).
  4. 7 Passenger Limited...4,200 miles and it's solid! The audio system sucks! Other than that, I LOVE IT! What else did you want to know?
  5. 19.5 in town with an '06 B9 with 4,200mi. In "Sport" mode, the engine has some pop!
  6. I spent about $1100 every 8 months or so on a Mercedes Benz ML500's brake pads and rotors. Back to Subie I am! Honestly, the B9 is far more "user-friendly" than that Benz, period!
  7. My wifes '03 Outback wagon does the same thing. Mostly when the AC is on, but at other times as well. In her car, it has been determined to be normal.
  8. It's a GREAT car! Have almost 1500 miles and couldn't be happier!
