Alright i have a 95 legacy wagon i love the car but got a few problems my main one is while driving it loses all power then kick backs in sometimes it will die but firw back up my check engine light ia on and says neutral safety switch. So my question is could that be causing it to just shut off randomly? Has anyone else had a problem of your car dieing firing right nack up it doesnt have an exact point that it does idle it dies driving it dies grr im so irritated just typing about it -
My 2004 Legacy Wagon is having a water issue. I pulled up my protective rubber cargo mat to find a soaking wet floor! It is only wet on the driver's side. I pulled everything out I could, and found water clear down into the spare tire area and into the compartment that hold the jack. The top of the mat had NO water on it, so I know that the leak is coming from below somewhere. Any ideas on where I should start looking? I knew my car was smelling moldy/mildewy, so at least I know where that is coming from know! Thanks for the help! Hi there guys, Pretty new to Subaru's and recently had a head gasket go on my ej22 in my 97 impreza OBS, priced parts and was about to order them when I found a guy in my town selling a ej22 for cheap and it runs minty, my only concern is that it's out of a 95 legacy and I know that the 95 ej22 and the 97 ej22 have slightly different internals and the compression is higher. So my question is would the ej22 out of the legacy swap right into my impreza or would i need to play with the harnesses or swap any parts over? Cheers guys and gals. Also not sure if this is the right board to post this if not could someone please direct me to the correct one, Thanks -
I have a spot or rust under the glass top left of the left 3/4 panel. There is a piece of plastic 'chrome' trim I will need to remove to repair rust. Can this piece of trim be removed without taking out glass? It's night here, sorry about the bug in the picture.

Thought it might be appropriate to check in again, since my first was moved out (thanks, 777!) to a better place. As the subject says, Nebraska is home these days, but I grew up a few miles from the Dallas Cowboys' home in Arlington, Texas... I'll be on a Greyhound bus from Omaha tomorrow afternoon to Cleveland, Ohio, Saturday morning to pick up my first Subaru: a well-worn but CarFax approved '04 L.L. Bean. Happy to be here, and certain to find lots of great people with plenty of advice!
