New here, hope this post fits guidelines! I recently inherited a 1980 4x4 Brat and I'm at a loss as to what to do with it. I've tinkered in the past but this will be my first ever full project and I'm hoping to get some suggestions/feedback from anyone who has taken on an older Subaru! Some info: EA71 had 80k OG miles and was recently resealed by a friend of mine. Currently runs and drives no problem. Rust isn't too bad, currently grinding out All original glass and body All interior stripped - still have but thinking about spraying bed liner on floor Missing door cards Dash is cracked but not the worst looking Have OG seats but badly need re-upholseting Pics here Willing to put about $5k into it immediately, $10k tops - what's your take?

So I'm in a pickle when it comes to my senior project, I am turning my Loyale into a Safari wagon. I have my sights set on a small and easy lift kit but I am having the hardest time finding wheels with a 4x140 lug pattern. Is it easier to get an adapter for 5x100 or would it be more economical to put all terrain wheel on the stock rims? Also if you have any tips on making this project easier (I know I chose a hard one) that would be great. My deadline is in April, winter set me back too far and need this done quick. And I'm not a mechanic but I learn quickly and I do have help when it comes to handy work so if I gather things now I should get be able to get things finished.

So I got a 1995 Subaru legacy outback for a first car for $1240. The car is a AT 2.2L boxer with 244,800 and counting on it. The car has a rebuilt title and I found out that's it's been in 4 car accidents. It's originally from Texas and has no service history on it. The last owner was told that the trans and engine where rebuilt. I will slowly do the things above from the title and be listed like that. So from 6/12/14 Mods: -Roof basket -donut tire delete Repairs: -fix radio to get it out of demo mode Maintenece: -air filter Questions: - I need suggestions for what type of shocks that I should replace with the one I have, the front left is shot and the other seem floaty -how do you fix the lights on the ac controller -
Making up a Xmas gift list and I was considering adding a rear antisway bar and endlinks to the list. or maybe ask for a gift certificate to help pay for one. Just wondering who makes WRX wagon-spec rear bars? Is Whiteline the only choice?
