Last months snowmobiling pics.

Around 8,000ft on Uinta National Forest Snowmo trail.

 

Basically stock 1982 Subaru GL Hatch.

 

Modifications;

Light bodywork done.

Non-factory wheels rims.

 

Stays on top of the snow well! :banana:

Here is the 03 H6 L.L. Bean gettin high. Mom loves the cushier ride and easier entry/exit of this mild lift.

 

The lift is our newly designed HighGuys 2 inch 3rd Gen Legacy kit. Check out the thread in Vendor forum.

okay, another wheeler in my fleet :grin:

what I did to get it going again...

new front rotors and calipers

ea82 coilovers in rear with new custom mounts

4" engine crossmember and strut tower blocks

lengthened steering shaft

new aftermarket headlight switch

fixed wiring for:

-headlights

-horn

-hazards

-center lamp

-ignition switch (aftermarket)

replaced missing front turn signal wire harnesses

hood pins

replaced heater hose

beat down rear bumper to normal position

tapped threads and reinstalled rear bumper ends

front RooBar installed

fixed wiring to thermo-switch on radiator

added wiring for fog lights

'84 style mirrors replaced broken '82 style ones

tightened up steering column mount bolts

new hazards flasher

removed cruise switches (rest was removed long ago)

15" pug flat spoke alloys with 27x9.50x15 SSR SWampers

 

still to do:

new thermo switch for radiator

sloppy shifter fix

exhaust rattle

weber tuning...

87 wagon 4" sjr lift 5 speed Dual range 1.8 FI 29" maxxis bighorn's 6 lug mod and 15" kidney bean slotted alloy rims, high end stereo, custom led interior lighting (underglow kit)

This is the newest one and by far the nicest one that i own.

Mods are:

4" SJR

27" BFG AT's

Allied Armament wheels 15's

Yakima rack

Stock ea82 with D/R 5 speed

New cat back with flowmaster

Alpine deck with 4 Focal speakers

Cobra CB

 

Soon to come mods are"

Tube bumpers front and rear

10,000lb winch

Window tint 20%

LSD if i can find one

i guess i should post up mine. i've had this wagon for a long time but i haven't really used it. only taken it out on the trails once (and broke it once...) then i DD'd it for a bit when the impreza was under the knife...

 

anyways...

 

87 GL wagon

-134k original km (84k miles)

-d/r trans blah blah

-lifted 2" via "one eye" lift

-welded rear with a spare diff and axles

-28" BFG M/T's on pug 505 turbo wheels (thanks zap!)

-80W/100W headlights with hella 500 spots...

Still trying to find some decent All terrain tires that fit a 14" pug.

reasonably sized spair as apposed to the factory spair.

tailight gaurds(function somewhat to a degree)

stripped interior

stock drivetrain ea82 carbed

glass pack exhaust

15inch custom tube sub. powered by an old 500watt clarion amp

stragetically placed dents for aerodynamic advantages : D

Install 50 cal machine-gun on roof with wireless remote control

We had 2 decent snow events here in the mid-south this spring.. Darn Glad I decided to tackle the lift of this rig last fall... I had a blast here in the Ozarks with 12"-14" of snow on the ground.. :banana:

Just thought I'd post this, since the transmission just went out and the rust means it probably won't get fixed (that's 2 for us this year...). it's my Dad's.

 

'94 Legacy GT wagon (yep, raised roof). Essentially a home-made first-gen Outback.

 

stock 2.2 and 4.111 5MT

BG Outback struts and springs

WRX wheels with 205/60r16 tires

t-leg front brakes
