Guest baccaruda
Hi.. I'm going to plan on Skeet's wagon needing a clutch and will be buying a kit soon. His wagon is carbureted.. will I get a stronger clutch if I order one for a turbo? Or are all EA82 clutches pretty much the same? thanks
Guest GlCraigGT
To my knowledge there are 3 EA82 clutches. 2WD (smallest in diameter will need a different flywheel to upgrade to 2wd turbo) 2WD Turbo (same diameter as 4WD/4WD Turbo but the dampening springs are different, Pressure plate maybe the same as 4wd/4wd turbo.) 4WD/4WD turbo
Guest Skip
There is one other "factory" clutch set up that will work The XT6 setup most parts store books list it as the same as the EA82T setup but I have heard the factory pp is stonger
Guest baccaruda
thanks guys.. hmm. skip, think it's "too strong" for a carbureted EA82?
Guest Skip
no Andy it will just grab the clutch disc better and in the long run be the ticket for your "race mods"
Guest baccaruda
cool! think it will be too hard on the clutch cable or Skeet's left foot? thanks skip!

Guest baccaruda
your Kung Fu legs are impressive.. but they are NO MATCH for the HEAVY-DUTY SEMI-TRUCK CLUTCH I'm going to put in.. MWAHAHAHAHA
