Sorry, I should have said drift PIN punch.

I do not have any true drift punches. I find them useless, and yes, they would become stuck too.

All of my drift punches are technically drift pin punches. No taper, at all.

Ya, the one's that I used were not tapered at all and still got stick. I'll get it out though. :)

It's alive! I drove it around the other day and guess what. Reverse pops out of gear just like the last transmission before I totally blew it out. I'm really close to having all the interior put back together then I'll snap some more photos.

I'm wondering if it isn't a problem with the shift linkage itself or just another bad transmission.

Well it's been a bit since I updated about the BRAT. I really haven't got much finished since the last post. I've been working on other people's projects (Head Gaskets on an 01 Legacy Outback, Heater core & heater control valve on BRAT, struts, brake pads & rotors & both front axles on my 98 Legacy Outback). I think I can finally finish up the BRAT now.

Next I'm going to work on getting the bumpers painted with some bed liner, then install my winch.

I hear you there I have been working on all sorts of projects and working full time otherwise, it's hard to finish up my own stuff.

Can't wait to see the bumpers finished they look like they are built extremely well.
