mctaylor42 Posted July 24, 2013 Share Posted July 24, 2013 So I'm hell bent on putting power steering in my 82 GL wagon, and thanks to another user, I'll be receiving the power steering components off an EA-82. I understand the cross member will get in the way so I have a few questions regarding the whole project. Should I notch out the existing cross member or modify an EA-82 cross member? Will I need to make custom lines? Will I need to replace any pulleys or just belts? What do I need to do with the tierod ends? Is the steering shaft the right length for the EA-82 rack?
