damonadie Posted September 19, 2013 Share Posted September 19, 2013 I'm looking for a trailer hitch for my 2006 Impreza Outback (I want to use a bike carrier). I just got a Class II trailer hitch with a 1 1/4" receiver from a tractor supply store and when I took this to my mechanic to get it installed, they told me this was for an Impreza and not an Impreza Outback. MilesFox Posted September 19, 2013 Share Posted September 19, 2013 Chck with u-haul. The impreza and outback sport are the same frame. For WRX you may have to notch the rear valence. Any part number they will have is the MFG's part number, and you can cross reference that with other vendors if there are better prices. U-haul does install hitches with lifetime warranty.
