ninjaseikai Posted May 19, 2015 Share Posted May 19, 2015 I recently purchased a title-less brat for parts. The owner of this brat had swapped out the transmission for one from an 88rx turbo. Full time awd dual range locking center diff. On paper it sounds great. In application it's a little iffy finding the gears. My question is this a normal swap? I'm debating on moving it to my good brat but idk if there's known problems or a better route. Aside from the shifting it gives the brat a lot of extra oomph with the stock engine. Thoughts?
