DuhRainNo Posted August 1, 2016 Share Posted August 1, 2016 Unable to receive email in my 2016 Crosstrek Hybrid Touring. Followed steps in manual, still a no go. I have an iPhone 6, AT&T provider. I am able to receive and play back text messages with no problems. Dealership says they never heard of being able to receive or play back emails. Not only is it in the manual, there are email settings on the infotainment system that are selectable. Have a trouble call in to Subaru to investigate. rkbean Posted March 9, 2017 Share Posted March 9, 2017 I have a 2016 limited and use Samsung s5 phone with at&t. I rarely get emails but mine will read the email to me. My wife has 2016 forester and uses windows phone. The cortana assistant on her phone will read the emails and let you reply back to text messages. unibrook Posted April 3, 2017 Share Posted April 3, 2017 I have a 2014 Crosstrek, and since the nav system is about as anti-intuitive as possible, I would have no hope of being able to hear emails via the unit.
